A- HS Summer Internship Program
Investment Level $1000/ student
The program aims at providing students high school students a closer look at what a “real job” is like. It develops their communication and inter-personal skills, and gives them the chance to relate what they learned from Fall and Spring courses to a real life working environment. The sponsoring company on the other hand learns more about the university student’s skills and capabilities, and can identify distinguished students as potential future employees.
Once completed, a celebration is held for the participating students, who are also granted certificates from the sponsoring company's representatives.
Participation in this program costs $1000 per intern, which includes a monthly salary, transportation, meals and an internship completion certificate and award.
B- Job Shadowing
Investment Level $ 150/student
The Job Shadowing Program is a one-day program during which community college and high school students “shadow” a business professional in the workplace based on their field of interest. The goal of the program is to provide students with a closer look at what a real job is like to help them decide on whether they would like to pursue a career in that profession in the future. The value of this program is great and helps students in focusing and clarifying their career decisions.
Sponsorship costs $150 per student, which covers the booklets used during the job shadowing day, transportation, and the job shadow completion certificate.
